In The Deep End

In The Deep End is a short visual novel that can be completed in around ten minutes. It deals with themes of abuse and suicide, so be warned.  Join a mysterious boy and an Angel on the beach late one night as they discuss their troubles and try to understand each other. Music, Coding, and Writing were all completed by Nate Lawliet, with beta testing and special thanks going out to Sunny.

In the Deep End is the first of what we hope to be many games created by Nate Lawliet and Sunny of Retrograde Studios. It was originally conceived as a way to test some things within Ren'py, and served to further increase our ability to code and use the program. With that in mind, we hope you eagerly await our next project, something we've been working on for a while now, which is much larger in scale than In The Deep End. Our next project, along with the odd themes and writing found in In The Deep End, has fully-fledged art and character sprites along with a lot of original music and intricate characters.
